Long Live Barrington Hall (with music)
Les Claypool's Flying Frog Brigade released the song Barrington Hall on their 2002 studio album Purple Onion. The song is about a Berkeley Student Coop. As a former Berkeley cooper myself, I really love this song. Unfortunately Barrington Hall, met its demise in 1989. Watch this video, and listen to this song. They go well together.

Single Shot Music Videos
I like long shots. I like real time. A continuous shot is interpreted differently than cuts are. The eye has more time to wander. Light and color are on a continuous gradient. There are no abrupt changes. Constant.
Here's an indie band who has released essentially a zero budget video. It has strong impact. Done in one continuous shot, the focus of this video is obviously on a girl. What I especially liked here was that the girl often drifts out of the shot. Our attention is still on her when we can't see her. Watch the video.
Artist: Broadcast, Song: Tender Buttons, Album: Tender Buttons, Year: 2005
Somewhat different, and animated, Royksopp has featured a few one shot videos. This video isn't truly a one shot music video, however, has been cut up and transitioned to appear as a continuous take. It gives a pretty cool effect, event if it isn't all deep and meaningful like Broadcast's video. Sometimes you just gatta watch some eye candy.

Night Falls Won't Back Down - Booka Shade Vs Plastic Operator
Last summer i started listening to Booka Shade constantly. They've really grown on me. They're a German electrohouse band with some breaks thrown in the mix. An excellent sound. They're currently on a massive world tour, check them out if they're coming to your area. This a little too slow for you? don't judge them on this song alone, a lot of their sound is actually pretty up beat. I hope you thoroughly enjoy this somewhat cheeky and factitious slow Tom Petty grove as much as I do. Dance your ass off.

I kind of like how Indie is now moving much more seriously into the realm of electronic music. This remix is with Plastic Operator, a good example of electro indie...perhaps another genre? who cares.
Sounds Eclectic.

Coen Brother's Tribute to Kraftwerk
Circa 1978. It was before I was even a glimmer in my father's eyes. It was before Daft Punk, Styx, The Flaming Lips, and all the other robot themed music. Kraftwerk released "The Man-Machine", track 1: The Robots. Oh yeah. Sounds kinda cheesy by today's standards, but this was 1978, I didn't even exist! This was electronic music, and it was still damn good.
I guess Joel and Ethen Coen like Kraftwerk enough to have featured a parody/tribute in The Big Lewboski. A Fictional German pop group called Autobahn. They're said to have released one album, called Nagelbett ("Bed of Nails"), in the late 1970s. The cover of this LP clearly parodies the cover of the Kraftwerk album The Man-Machine. According to Maude Lebowski "Their music is a sort of an, ugg...technopop".
